The BOMA Georgia Foundation advances real estate education through awarding scholarships for enrollment in designation program and certificate courses.
Scholarships
Thanks to our generous donors, the following scholarships are available annually:
Property Management 101 | $300 Scholarship
Professionals starting their career in commercial property management benefit from the program’s in-depth discussion of industry basics and core principles. This dynamic course combines classroom-style learning, interaction with industry professionals and behind-the-scenes tours of metro-Atlanta buildings.
Building Engineering 101 | $185 Scholarship
This course is designed for new engineers or those with limited experience in the industry. The course combines classroom-style learning, interaction with industry professionals and behind-the-scenes tours of metro-Atlanta buildings.
Commercial HVAC Certificate Program | $300 Scholarship
The Commercial HVAC Certificate Program is a unique partnership between BOMA Georgia and Chattahoochee Technical College offering building engineers five modules of coursework that advances their knowledge of commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
BOMI Designation Courses | $500 scholarship
A BOMI designation is a mark of distinction and an emblem of achievement in the commercial real estate industry. Those in pursuit of a BOMI designation attend a variety of courses providing comprehensive understanding of the real estate industry tailored to either property managers, facility managers, and building engineers through the RPA, FMA, SMT, and SMA designations.

Real Estate Investment and Finance
BOMI courses offered by BOMA Georgia that have a $500 scholarship embedded in the registration rate for all students and are not eligible for additional scholarship support:
Air Handling, Water Treatment, and Plumbing Systems
Boilers, Heating Systems & Applied Mathematics
Budgeting and Accounting
Building Design & Maintenance
Design, Operations and Maintenance Part I
Electrical Systems & Illumination
Energy Management and Controls
Environmental Health and Safety Issues
Refrigeration Systems & Accessories
Additionally, the BOMI Ethics is Good Business ShortCourse is not eligible for a scholarship.
The first scholarship application deadline each year is Jan. 17 for scholarships to be awarded by Jan. 24. If interested please fill out and submit the scholarship application.
The second scholarship application deadline each year is May 23 for scholarships to be awarded by June 6.
